Cats in the City Cat Sitting Service Agreement
This Cat Sitting Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Cats in the City (“Company”) and the Client (“You” or “Client”) for professional cat sitting services. By scheduling services with Cats in the City, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services Provided
Cats in the City agrees to provide professional cat sitting services, which may include but are not limited to:

Feeding and providing fresh water
Litter box maintenance
Medication administration (additional fee applies)
Playtime and companionship
Pet-related mess cleanup
Home care tasks such as mail retrieval, plant watering, and security checks
2. Scheduling & Visit Requests
All cat sitting visits are scheduled based on availability within the designated time blocks.
Advance booking is highly recommended to secure your preferred dates.
Requests for additional visits will be accommodated as availability allows.
3. Payment & Fees
Payment is due within 7 days of receiving your invoice.
Outstanding invoices will be automatically processed with a 18% gratuity, which goes 100% to your sitter.
Medication administration is subject to a $15 per visit fee when required.
4. Cancellation & Date Modification Policy
Customer Cancellation Policy:
Overnight Care Cancellations: Client Charge: 100% of the booking total.
Cancellations Within 48 Hours of the Start Time: Client Charge: 100% of the booking total.
Cancellations Between 48 Hours and 2 Weeks Before the Start Time: Client Charge: 50% of the booking total.
Cancellations At Least 2 Weeks Before the Start Time (After 48 Hours of Booking): Client Charge: 50% of the booking total.
Cats in the City reserves dedicated time for your cat(s), often declining other work to ensure availability. This policy ensures reliability and fairness for our team and clients.
5. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate and up-to-date care instructions for your cat(s).
Ensure safe and secure access to your home for the sitter.
Inform Cats in the City of any behavioral or medical concerns regarding your cat(s).
Disclose any third parties who may also have access to the home during the service period.
6. Liability & Emergency Care
Cats in the City is not liable for illness, injury, or loss related to pre-existing conditions or incidents outside our control.
If an emergency arises, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If you cannot be reached, we will seek veterinary care at our discretion, and the Client agrees to cover all associated costs.
7. Home Access & Security
Client agrees to provide access via key, lockbox, or other secure means.
If access is not available at the scheduled visit time, the full visit fee will still apply.
Cats in the City is not responsible for home security issues unrelated to our services.
8. Agreement Acceptance
By booking cat sitting services with Cats in the City, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
